Integrated Energy Planning and LEAP Development

Research and LEAP development to connect building electrification with gas and electric infrastructure planning.

Groundwork Data supported the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center on integrated energy planning and development of Local Energy Asset Planning (LEAP) from 2024 to 2026. The work examined how information about buildings and utility infrastructure can inform coordinated investment decisions.

This engagement builds on the LEAP framework. Its research also informed the separate public housing screening project for The Boston Foundation.
