Published in December 2020, the Massachusetts 2050 Decarbonization Roadmap brings together analysis of energy, transportation, buildings, land, and other sources of emissions.

It compares routes to net zero and identifies actions that can support near-term progress while preserving longer-term options. The report informed the state’s 2030 emissions limit and interim climate plan; companion technical reports explain the underlying analysis.
