Panel Discussion 2019

Designing a Carbon Free Boston

A presentation and panel on what Carbon Free Boston means for building design and the city's existing buildings.

What would Boston’s carbon goals require of its buildings? This May 2019 event examines the Carbon Free Boston report and the role of architecture, engineering, and building design in meeting those goals.

Michael Walsh took part as the study’s technical lead at Boston University’s Institute for Sustainable Energy. The event brought together practitioners and the Boston Green Ribbon Commission, in partnership with the Boston Society of Architects/AIA and the BSA Foundation. GBH’s Forum Network hosts the recording.
