Joan Fitzgerald and Michael Walsh presented the inaugural Boston Climate Progress Report at this November 2022 Boston Foundation forum. Their presentation examines progress toward emissions reduction, climate resilience, and equity, and the barriers slowing the work.
The report’s priorities include electrifying small buildings, preparing the electric grid, coastal resilience, and planning with frontline communities. The forum also brings in perspectives from community organizing, public space, and affordable housing. The Foundation provides the recording and presentation slides.
